Election Day is Tuesday! Early Voting ends Saturday! We're almost there. Early voting will wrap up tomorrow, and already we've had more than 17,500 members vote! We're still short of our goal of 25,000 early votes, though, meaning we need to close strong! Overall, we hope that at least 75 percent of SEANC members will cast a ballot in this election. We need to show up in large numbers on Tuesday to make sure we elect legislators who support us! Make a plan. Know what time you’re going and where you’re going. To make it easy, we have created a Voter Guide where you can find your polling place and EMPAC-endorsed candidates in your area. Also, be sure to check your information here before voting to make sure it is accurate. This election is too important for state employees and retirees to sit out. Pay raises, affordable health plan premiums, retirement security – it all starts here. We must make our voices heard!
Get Involved! SEANC members have been out in full force already in this election, making sure voters know where we stand. We still need volunteers to help at the polls on Tuesday! If you would like to get involved, click here to contact us!
Forum on prison safety planned SEANC's Select Committee on Prison Reform will hold a listening forum from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the SEANC Central Office in Raleigh. Join us to share your thoughts on improving your workplace environment and your ideas for the future. Dinner will be provided. For more information, contact the SEANC Member Relations Department at 919-833-6436.
