Old Town Hall Tea Room

Following an awful period during Lockdown the Communial Tea Room in the Old Town Hall has began to flourish. Many of our regular customers have returned and we have some new visitors who have now become regulars, visiting two or three times a week. A ladies’ group is hopefully going to become a regular fortnightly guest as our laid back ambiance allows them to have a coffee or tea and a talk amongst themselves without being under pressure to drink up and leave. It is one of our goals to encourage people to drop in, have a chat with people they know or complete strangers, and leave feeling pleased that they came in. We are going to start doing take-away tea and coffee only for those going to the the beach or sitting on the seats on South Street. Our opening times are unchanged as 10am to 1pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 12 noon on Saturday.
