G R A N D O P E N I N G : R I S I N G T I D E T AV E R N The long-awaited soft opening happened and Rising Tide Tavern has established its flow.

This restaurant is one fabulous step towards Seabrook becoming “the foodie paradise” of the Washington Coast. Everyone is raving about the design decor and space experience, but most of all, the menu of fresh, local, thoughtfully planned foods. Quinault Pride Seafood, Sky Island Farms produce, and even locally-foraged mushrooms are just a few highlights. Now serving lunch and craft cocktails! M U S H RO O M F O R A G I N G AT S E A B RO O K Hunt with pros, Michael Abramson and Dan Parhaniemi. Mushroom foraging in the Pacific Northwest has been a driving force for Michael since 2012. His life-changing passion went from outdoor enjoyment to business as Wild Spores. Dan first got into foraging 10 years ago after transitioning from skateboarding to mushroom hunting, and forest ecosystems in general, as owner of Conscious Collectors Cooperative. Wild Spores and Michael’s free-flowing knowledge on all things mushrooms were a hit all summer at Seabrook’s Saturday Market. Excursions are Saturdays through November.

PA I N T I N G P U M P K I N S A N D S I P P I N G T O O Fall, family, and fun. People picked their pumpkins and then enjoyed painting them while sipping hot apple cider and specialty alcohol beverages for those over 21. On Friday, October 8, 2021, the painting kicked off Seabrook’s upcoming Halloweekend. This series of family events are family focused and include free pumpkins, carving contest, hay maze, trick or treating, and lots more.

C L A M D I G G I N G AT S E A B RO O K The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) approved dates for razor clam digs, season 2021! Last season was intermittent and short. The early-bird dig kicked off September 17th at 4:30 AM when the tide was low. Usually, the number of clams you can dig is limited to 15. However, due to “strong razor clam populations estimated ...,” this season the limit has been raised to 20! Enough for beer-battered dippers plus homemade clam chowder.

T H A N K S G I V I N G T RO T T O T U R K E Y Thanksgiving holiday week is always fun at Seabrook! This week is often filled with family, friends, football, and food. And it’s the festive beginning to the holiday season, and Jolly Days at Seabrook.

Begin your Thanksgiving Day with the Seabrook Turkey Trot, a 3K run/walk/trot for the whole family (and your four-legged furry family, too).

After your trot, return home to your pre-ordered Thanksgiving Feast, catered by a Seabrook favorite. You don’t need to worry about a thing, just relax, laugh, and be thankful.

The Crescent Park Indoor Swimming Pool is always a draw, as is the Fitness Center. All the sports courts around town (tennis, badminton, pickleball, shuffleboard, basketball, bocce, horseshoe, and even beach volleyball) are a hit. You can check out your gear at Buck’s Northwest.

Seabrook also has over seven parks, (including a playground and dog park) and 15 community fire pits strategically located around town for morning sun, afternoon somersaults and Frisbee, early evening s’mores, and nightly sunsets.

Add in the Town Center, oyster shell pathways, promenades, benches, sitting areas, the Town Tour with town founder, Dorothy Anderson Cabin, The Heritage Tree, Farm District Windgate Barn, the grand staircase, and the b e a c h , then you have yourself at least a 6-night stay!
