Seabrook invites kite lovers of all ages to enjoy two unique events celebrating creativity and the joy of flight. On Friday, August 15 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, head to the Pacific Glen beach access for a breezy morning of kite flying. Bring your own or pick up a new favorite from the Ocean Shores Kites pop-up at the top of the Pacific Glen stairs, then take to the sandy beach below. If rain or high winds are expected, updates will be posted by 8:00 AM on Seabrook’s social media and Events page.
On Wednesday, August 20 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM, gather in the shaded green space of Crescent Park for a hands-on kite-making workshop. All materials are provided by Seabrook, giving guests the chance to design and personalize their own kites before taking them offsite to fly later. Whether you’re crafting your own design or sending one skyward over the surf, Kites at the Beach offers two ways to let your imagination, and your kite, soar.

Seabrook ‘found’ the owners in 2014, and it all began in a 1939 Chevrolet Farm Truck, with a wood-fired brick oven.
