Teen-Led Cereal4All Collected 11,079 Pounds Of Cereal For Boca Helping Hands Inspired by the nostalgic comfort of a hearty bowl of a childhood breakfast favorite, teen-led nonprofit Cereal4All rallied the community once again to support the mission of Boca Helping Hands (BHH). Cereal 4 All was founded by 18-year-old Boca Raton twins Jett Justin and Luke Justin. Their annual Spring Cereal Drive collected 11,079 pounds of cereal for underserved families. Starting as a modest soup kitchen in 1998, Boca Helping Hands provided more than 3.5 million meals to people in need in 2025. The organization focuses on giving a “hand up” to those who are trying to make ends meet, providing stability and reassurance about where their next meal will come from. Few foods support that mission more than a hearty bowl of cereal. Through its five distribution centers, BHH provides pantry bags filled with groceries to families living at or below the poverty level, and cereal is a perfect

item to help fill those bags. Cereal4All was founded by the Justin brothers, now freshmen at the University of Florida, after they discovered while volunteering at BHH that breakfast foods are among the most needed, yet least donated, items at food banks. “My brother and I learned about the breakfast food shortage in 2016 while volunteering in the warehouse at Boca Helping Hands, and it had a major effect on us because, like most young people, we love cereal,” said Jett Justin. “Cereal is about breakfast, but it’s also about starting the day with a sense of normalcy and happiness. Boca Raton Announces $2 Million Federal Investment For Jeffery Street Crossing Secured By Congressman Jared Moskowitz The City of Boca Raton welcomed Congressman Jared Moskowitz for a ceremonial check presentation recognizing a $2 million federal Congressional Community Project Funding award supporting the Jeffery Street Railroad-Highway Grade Crossing project. The project will create a new public street crossing that will improve connectivity, mobility and public safety in northeast Boca Raton. “This is about more than reopening a railroad crossing. The Jeffery Street project means faster routes for our first responders, and it means a community that’s no longer cut off from itself,” said Congressman Jared Moskowitz (FL-23). “It’s rewarding to see the federal funding we fought so hard for come to fruition today, but getting it done couldn’t have happened without our partnership with the City of Boca Raton, Florida East Coast Railway and FDOT. I’m proud to be Boca Raton’s partner in Washington and I will never stop until every dollar this project needs is brought back to our community where it belongs.”

Boca Raton Fire Rescue Expands Life-Saving Care With Whole Blood The City of Boca Raton’s Fire Rescue Services has enhanced its emergency medical response capabilities by equipping its firefighter-paramedics with whole blood for use in the field, allowing first responders to provide advanced,
life-saving treatment to critically injured and ill patients before they arrive at the hospital. Whole blood transfusions are increasingly recognized as a best practice for treating adult and pediatric patients experiencing severe blood loss due to traumatic injuries, such as vehicle crashes, as well as certain medical emergencies, including gastrointestinal bleeding.
