LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE PORTFOLIO

My objective is to gain knowledge and experience in the field of landscape architecture by exploring new mediums and applying myself with a cooperative team. I am looking for an opportunity that would enrich my understanding in the design process of public and private spaces to enhance their overall functions of amenities and materials to future sites.

Self titled “SITE 21” is a group work and exploration of landscape architecture. The project provides a feel of wonder and comfort in the context of the given site. Adjustable linear forms, the main materiel being wood, and a pop of blue all allows a user to more than just occupy a site, but connect and be the context for it.
A planting design is made through foliage, scale, and given scape. This conceptual landscape is a focus on being the space of refuge and tranquility for a prospective family. Design through the use of natural materials, soft textures, and calming hues provide this feel. Each element does not only do this by having these characteristics as each also is given context by a scape in this case through the design of pushing and pulling the site’s grounds.
Digitally generated representations of scapes often have a bad reputation of being misleading as the project is held to the standard of the 3D representation instead of the context in which it started. The backyard rendering is a design concept of a modern mindful and natural restorative space. These renderings and this statement serve the purpose of exemplifying the importance in the choice of modern mediums and in which one argues how a designer must adjust to modern workflows. SKILLS APPLIED: RHINO3D, TWIN MOTION, ILLUSTRATOR, PHOTOSHOP.
The field of landscape architecture has a varying demand with each project as the responsibility of the designer is to understand the site, in most cases the best way is being hands on. The construction of the Neutra Plaza involved the installation of hardscape and softscape features such as; boulders, decomposite granite, pavers, drains, trees, shrubs and grasses. All elements fully understood after the semester long commitment to the creation and showcase of this outdoor scape.
Soundscape design workshop and applied site design.
Landscape architecture is the fabric that connects culture, nature, and future generations. The soundscape design of this project is a fabric made by the connections found at this school through a design workshop gathering ideas and the understanding of faculty and student needs. The project was then formed by the spark in abridging imagination and reality through the design. French culture, the intensity of sounds, and the interaction of the ground plane through material or elevation all linked through landscape architecture formed as the design of, Acupuncture Sonique.
