Saving Scotland’s seabirds
Scotland’s seabirds are under threat, and it’s down to us to protect these globally important populations.
At the Scottish Seabird Centre we deliver vital conservation action that works. Our SOS Puffin project has quadrupled the number of puffins
on Craigleith island in the Firth of Forth, and we work with conservation partners and government to secure long-lasting change. But more action is urgently required – and we can’t do this without your help.
Restoring Scotland’s marine environment
Scotland’s natural environment is one of the most degraded in the world. It’s not enough to merely protect what’s left, we must restore our marine habitats to give nature space to thrive. We support marine restoration efforts across Scotland to bring new life to our coasts and seas. We must take responsibility now, to ensure our seas are healthy and wildlife rich for generations to come.
Inspiring a love of nature
We need to connect more people with the wonders of Scotland’s seas to instil a love of wildlife and inspire people of all ages to work together for nature.
Our Visitor Centre introduces more than 175,000 people to Scotland’s amazing marine environment every year. Through our education and outreach activities we’re working to inspire a new generation of conservationists.
We can only do what we do for seabirds and the natural environment because of the generosity of nature lovers like you. Memberships are available from £3 a month or £36 a year.
