Safety Management Council Meets at New Port of Entry at SD/MN Border

Sergeant Koll, SD Highway Patrol and Manager Nerby, SD Motor Carrier Inspectors often attend the SDTA Safety Management Council meetings. They have been keeping our group informed as to the progress of the newly built Port of Entry and SD Welcome Center at the SD/MN border. They incurred several obstacles in the new build, COVID-19 being the biggest obstacle of them all. They were trying to find an appropriate time to hold an Open House once the Port of Entry was finally completed. It turned out that hosting the October Council meeting at the Port of Entry was the best option in today’s world. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. As you can see in the picture (Continued on page 13)
