Welcome to the King Center and Goodell Gymnasium, home of the Hardrockers. The facilities recently had a facelift as the women’s basketball, men’s basketball, women’s volleyball and men’s football teams all got upgrades to the locker room areas. The football team is totally housed at O’Harra Stadium, while volleyball, basketball and track recently had their current facilities modified. The locker rooms are all state of the art to go along with an excellent gym that seats approximately 3,000 fans. There also is a top of the line wellness center and an indoor pool for use too.

Gabe Zeigler

Assistant Coach Phone: (605) 394-2602 Email:Gabriel.Zeigler@sdsmt.edu

The name Zeigler is not unfamiliar to Lady Hardrocker basketball as Zeigler's sister Miaken was a member of the SDM women's team from 2000 to 2004. She ended her college career as the fifth all-time scorer with 1,677 points. Zeigler, who played hoops for Black Hills State from 1999-2003 and was a standout player at Sturgis Brown High School prior to that, has been involved in basketball throughout his career. He served as a student-assistant coach for the University of Minnesota women's basketball team for two years and served as the interim head coach and as an assistant coach for the men's basketball program at Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minn. "Gabe has been influenced by basketball his whole life," Felderman said. "He brings a wealth of knowledge for the game and knows what it takes to be a student-athlete and a coach. His sister was very successful here as a Hardrocker and now I am confident Gabe will be as well." As a Lady Hardrocker assistant coach, a big part of Zeigler's' duties will be recruiting. South Dakota Mines student-athletes are a very specific type - having to have not only basketball skills, but also excellent academic accomplishments. Zeigler feels he's ready for the challenge to find athletes that will thrive at SD Mines. "I want hard working, athletes that can get things done on the court and in the classroom," Zeigler said. "I want someone that is willing to put the time in and obviously is athletic and gifted. I would like to tap into the resources I had in Minnesota as well as locally."

The $ucce$$ Club is a fun and exciting way to become involved in the women’s basketball program at South Dakota School of Mines. The Club will promote enthusiasm and interest in the program while raising funds that will directly benefit the team. We invite individuals and businesses to pledge a certain amount of money per each threepoint basket and each steal made during the 2011-2012 season.

At the end of the season, the total number of made three-point baskets and steals will be calculated and you will be notified of your total contribution to the $ucce$$ Club.

Last Season the Lady Hardrockers Tallied 219 Steals and 191 three-point field goals.

I would like to pledge: _____ for every steal

_____ for every three-point basket made by the lady Hardrockers during the 2011-2012 Season.
