Noise has long been a serious issue in many built areas since it is an unwelcome sound that interferes with human work. Finding the causes of noise pollution is the study’s main goal. With the use of knowledgeable and regulated regulations, people should be safeguarded against the detrimental consequences of airborne pollution, particularly noise pollution. Even though it shouldn’t be required, people have the right to pick their acoustical environment. Whatever the source of the sound, it typically disturbs and confounds people in addition to having a harmful impact on the environment and nature. When viewed in a larger context, this significantly increases pollution. introducing a variety of sounds into daily life, each of which will be investigated to discover a solution and lessen internal issues, as stated in the phases 1 and 2 of the Anglia Ruskin Camptussite.

A HYBRID COMUNITY SPACE

A community hybrid space is an adaptable and flexible setting created to unite different community members for social interaction, resource sharing, and cooperation. It creates a dynamic ecosystem by fusing components of physical spaces—like makerspaces, community centres, or coworking offices—with digital platforms and technologies.

These versatile spaces serve as educational hubs, promoting a holistic understanding of sus tainable lifestyles, soil vitality, and agriculture.

By day, the focus is on engaging youth in practical farming tasks. Through interactive sessions, educational work shops, and experiential learning opportunities, they gain valuable insights into crop cultivation, ecological conserva tion, and soil quality. In order to maximise natural light and ventilation in residential units, varied layouts can reduce the demand for artificial lighting and mechanical ventilation while also boosting occupant comfort. Different design can offer different escape routes in the event of an emergency. Vertical farming in residential areas enhances efficiency by cultivating crops in stacked interior spaces, minimizing reliance on ground-level land. These indoor farms mitigate weather risks, ensuring a consistent food supply regardless of external conditions, thus promoting safety and wellbeing. By locating farms indoors, long-distance transportation needs are eliminated, reducing energy waste and pollution. Additionally, integrating green roofs for farming offers multiple benefits including enhanced insulation, improved drainage, and reduced urban heat island effect for residential buildings. These green roofs also leverage sunlight to regulate temperatures, facilitating cultivation while preserving ground-level green spaces. The market also serves as a cultural exchange hub, attracting residents from all backgrounds to share recipes, gardening tips, and celebrate their heritage. One unique architectural feature of the library will be a void in the middle. This gap has two functions: it facilitates environmental tactics. A circular aperture that pierces through the top glass of the roof is intended to provide shade for the indoor plants while allowing for natural ventilation and temperature control. This creative design reduces dependency on artificial heating and cooling systems, which not only improves the aesthetic appeal but also advances sustainability.In addition, a device that will enable the roofing to open and close in reaction to weather conditions will be installed. This dynamic feature maximises energy efficiency while ensuring the library's ideal ventilation and comfort. The East Wick library is an example of a dedication to sustainability because it has incorporated environmental factors into its design with ease.

BRIDGING URBAN AND NATURAL WORLDS

Major cities around the world are facing increased challenges in creating natural spaces that thrive and live alongside heavily populated areas. A prominent factor within these issues is the practice of designing urban parks that are situated away from work-centred and pedestrianised areas, such as Oxford Street.

At the heart of our proposal lies the concept of ‘wilding,’ which is a philosophy that allows nature to reclaim its space within the urban realm. Creating an elevated pathway facilitates the interaction between the city’s inhabitants and the natural world. These pathways serve as a means for harmonious coexistence, enabling individuals to navigate through and above nature’s domain, rather than displacing it entirely.

Each structure has nine square frames of similar design and sections but a varying with a varying height sequence. The frames are braced with horizontal rods to prevent lateral movement. Inspiration : The inspiration for the designed pavilion came throught this project conveying a conceptual experiment whithin framing space, framing vistas, and framing experience. With a design made up of five segmented bays, that are stacked on top of each other. While all of these portions are based on the same module, the height, alignment, and seating arrangement of each frame differs.

THE SANKOFA MANSION: PROJECT EXTENSION VISUALISATION

In the context of an extension to a building project for a private client, "Sankofa Serenity" draws from the rich cultural tapestry of Ghana, specifically the Akan culture. Derived from the Akan language, "Sankofa" embodies the profound philosophy of learning from the past to shape a brighter future. It is often depicted by a bird gazing backward while in forward motion, symbolizing reflection, progress, and a deep reverence for one's origins.

By incorporating "Sankofa" into the title, this architectural endeavor not only emphasizes the tranquil essence of the mansion but also celebrates Ghana's vibrant heritage and traditions. This extension serves as a testament to the client's commitment to preserving cultural roots while embracing modernity. It offers a sanctuary that fosters a sense of pride and connection to the local community, seamlessly blending contemporary living with the timeless wisdom of Ghanaian culture.
