Blessed Pier Giorgio Frassati was born in Turin (Italy) in 1901, the son of a distinguished Italian family. His father was Italian Senator and Ambassador, founder of a daily newspaper and his mother a painter with a strong attitude. His life was brief as a comet but just as sparkling.
