RMI Welcomes a New President

RMI is thrilled to announce that Emily Chao '22 is RMI's new Retail Studies Student Association President for the 2021-2022 school year. Chao will work alongside Cindy Cooper and Kirthi Kalyanam to develop the RSSA Executive Board and create a meaningful year for all RMI students. Cindy Cooper shares, "[Chao] will be a valuable resource for potential RMI students who want to learn more about the minor as well as a mentor within the RMI Community. "

Chao '22 is a Senior Finance major and Retail Studies and Ancient Studies minor originally from Fullerton. We are so grateful to have Chao as an integral part of the RMI organization and look forward to a wonderful year ahead!

As the need for data science and the intersection between retail and tech prevails, I plan to implement these concepts in the program. I hope to continue expanding our community of future industry leaders and to preserve a tight community while providing resources and opportunities, like mentorship and networking events, to connect.
