One of the flagship programs of the SCRLF is the South Carolina ProStart Invitational. ProStart is a nationwide, two-year high school program that unites the classroom and industry to develop the best and brightest talent into tomorrow’s restaurant and foodservice leaders. At SCPI, students face off in culinary and/or management competitions judged by industry professionals. The winning teams move on and represent South Carolina in the National ProStart Invitational.
