Our Chief Scout studied electronic engineering and has always been fascinated by radios and computers. He knows how exciting it can be to talk to people all over the world, learn about different places, and share your story. That’s why he is
to support Beaver Scouts to take part in Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) and learn how the internet connects people everywhere.
Every year, over 1 million Scouts from more than 170 countries take part in Jamboree on the Internet!

World Map Activity
Print a big world map and put a sticker or pin on every country you meet a Scout from during JOTI.
When using JOTI, always follow these rules:
Be with an adult - Be kind and polite online - Never share personal info
Can you find Ireland on the map?
How far away are the new friends you talked to?
Online Campfire Song Swap
Ask other Scouts about their favourite campfire song. Sing one of your own and maybe teach them the actions over video or chat.
