Open Call for Volunteers to Express an Interest in:
Scouting Irelands National First Aid Team
March 2026


Do you have expertise in First Aid skills? Do you have experience in the medical field or have an interest in a career in medicine?
Scouting Ireland is excited to announce the formation of a new National First Aid Team and we need YOU to help shape this vital initiative.
This team will work to create a dedicated, well-trained, and strategically integrated National First Aid Team that supports Scouting Ireland’s events, training, and welfare initiatives. This team will aim to enhance safety, promote health awareness, and ensure robust emergency preparedness across all scouting activities.
Members of this team may have a First Aid Certification or may be looking to develop these skills. They will play a key role in supporting operations and safeguarding at national events and other scouting activities. Members with collaborate with the Listening Ear and Welfare Teams to ensure not only the physical but also emotional and mental health needs of all scouts are supported.

The National First Aid Team will serve as a vital operational and safeguarding support service offering first aid and medical care to scouts and scouters across the country. By joining the team, members will create a national network of professional, compassionate and skilled individuals that will help to keep Scouting Ireland’s members safe.
This open call is open to any adult member of Scouting Ireland who wishes to contribute.
