I accept this nomination to the induction/election process for the Office of Chief Scout of Scouting Ireland. I confirm that I am eligible to seek election and I confirm that (as per clause 23.2 of the Scouting Ireland Constitution):
1. I have been nominated by not less that ten (10) members (i.e., Scout Groups who are registered as Company Members);
2. I consent to act as Chief Scout of Scouting Ireland, if elected;
3. I have not previously held the office of Chief Scout of Scouting Ireland for longer than six (6) years;
4. I will complete an Officers’ pre-appointment induction course arranged by the Company. I further confirm that:
1. I am over the age of 18 years;
2. I am not an undischarged bankrupt;
3. I have never been removed from the position of charity trustee by an order of the High Court or charity regulator in either the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, or another jurisdiction;
4. I am not the subject to disqualification as a company director in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, or another jurisdiction;
5. I have never been prohibited, removed, or suspended from being a trustee under the Trustee Act 1893 or of a scheme under the Pensions Acts 1990 to 2008;
6. I have never been convicted on indictment of an offence;
7. I am not in the process of making a composition or arrangement with creditors;
