Vanderburgh County CASA is a child advocacy nonprofi t dedicated to ensuring that abused and neglected children have a voice in the systems that shape their lives. Our volunteers serve as trained advocates, mentors, and supporters, working to provide children with safety, stability, and hope for a brighter future.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) are volunteers who work directly with children in the juvenile court system, advocating for their best interests in court and the community. Our organization believes that every child deserves a safe, loving environment where they can thrive. Volunteers do not need prior experience—just a heart for service. We provide thorough training, resources, and ongoing support to equip them for this critical work. By joining our mission, volunteers play a vital role in transforming young lives, ensuring that children receive the care and support they deserve. Together, we can create a community where every child is valued and empowered.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley is committed to supporting families when children need medical care. Launching this spring, the Care Mobile brings essential medical services to underserved communities, providing preventive care, screenings, and maternal and pediatric health services. By meeting families where they are, RMHC aims to improve health outcomes and reinforce its mission of strengthening families and promoting healing. Additionally, RMHC operates two houses that serve as a comforting "home away from home" for families with hospitalized children, providing private rooms, meals, and a supportive community. This essential service allows families to remain close to their child's care, alleviating fi nancial and emotional burdens to help parents focus on their child’s health.

Volunteers play a crucial role in maintaining the nurturing environment by supporting house operations, assisting with events, and organizing donations. Their dedication ensures that families receive comfort and support during challenging times. Furthermore, the Meals of Love Program o ers a valuable opportunity for volunteers to prepare and serve meals, contributing to the nourishment and well-being of families during prolonged hospital stays.

For nearly 80 years, we’ve kept the magic of Christmas alive in Santa Claus, Indiana.

In 1946, our great-grandfather, Louis J. Koch, opened Santa Claus Land, a roadside attraction with a toy shop, soda fountain, and train ride. Over time, each generation brought something new: our grandfather developed the town of Santa Claus, Indiana, while our father built the park into a destination, adding our world-famous wooden roller coasters and Splashin’ Safari water park.

As the fourth generation, and first women-led generation, we value what made us who we are—especially Free Unlimited Soft Drinks— and we add our own storytelling magic with every project. Together, with our outstanding team, we shaped the story of Good Gravy! family roller coaster, with a rich backstory and delightfully busy décor that brought the ride to life.

Today, we celebrate Halloween, Thanksgiving, the Fourth of July, and Christmas every day. Whenever you visit, we hope you feel like you just came home for the holidays.
