Editor’s Letter As I write this editor letter, I am paging through our previous volume 7 reflecting on these powerful images. We work hard to capture the essence of each small business owner in these carefully curated and styled photos. Imagery immediately evokes feelings, which is one reason why digital media is so popular. With over 70 guides across the country, the reach and network offered to small businesses by The Scout Guide, in print and digital, is immeasurable. Each visual story holds a very personal narrative of success through determination and good ol’ blood, sweat, and tears. What stokes this fire is the passion of the entrepreneur. The entrepreneurial spirit is the common denominator these celebrated small business owners share here in Lexington. I continue to be amazed, honored, and inspired by these businesses. I hope you will take the time to visit, meet, support, and learn about each one of these owners and their concepts.
