The AMERI CAN H EART ASSOCIATI ON educates the community on the causes and prevention of heart disease and stroke through the GO RED FOR WOMEN movement, Heart Walk, Heart Ball, Tobacco Endgame, and F.A.S.T. stroke awareness campaign. Funds raised support local research and initiatives including healthy eating and fitness programs, CPR trainings, advocacy efforts, STEM opportunities for female students, food security, women's health, prevention programs, and more. In Central Ohio, the AHA is currently funding nearly $9 million in active research.

is a state-of-the-art non-profit institution in downtown Columbus that was started in 1945 by a group of visionary women who wanted to help children in need. The Center started as a daycare model and now provides early childhood education and therapeutic services to children ages birth through six, both with and without developmental delays, with the goal of readying these children for kindergarten.

As women of the League, we support The Center through volunteering, fundraising, and community advocacy. We have the pleasure of volunteering in the classroom and at The Center, alongside the dedicated teachers, social workers, and therapeutic specialists who support the 500+ children and their families on their roads to success.
