Annual tuition is $2,328 ($97 per credit hour for 12 credit hours for each of two semesters. Maricopa County residents.)

No application fees or entrance exams – everyone is accepted.

Approximately 70% of our faculty hold master’s degrees and 26% have doctoral degrees – and they bring years of hands-on industry experience in their field (and we don’t use teacher’s assistants).

SCC has established transfer partnerships with 40+ 4-year universities to ensure your credits transfer easily, saving you time and money.

OUR UNIQUE LOCATION SCC is located on the Salt River PimaMaricopa Indian Community and the traditional lands of the Onk Akimel O’odham (Pima) and the Xalychidom Piipaash (Maricopa) people.

The College offers a strong Native American student support program. SCC established the Indigenous Cultural Center (ICC) to better serve our growing Native American student population, and to promote an understanding and appreciation of the history, contributions, and future of Indigenous people among all students.

The American Indian Program at SCC addresses the constantly changing and highly diverse educational needs of American Indian students and communities.

We also offer degrees and certificates in American Indian Studies.

Early college programs like Junior ACE and Hoop of Learning provide dedicated support and resources to encourage, enable, and empower Native American students to pursue a college education at SCC. 13

TUITION ASSISTANCE President’s Honors Scholarship

Honors Achievement Award

Recent Maricopa County high school graduates who have a final unweighted 3.25 GPA may qualify for this scholarship which covers in-county tuition for up to 15 credit hours for four semesters.

After completing 12 credits (100+ level classes) at SCC with a 3.25 GPA or higher, students may qualify for an award of up to $500 per semester.

Federal Work Study (FWS)

Work & Learn

Earn funds to help pay for your educational expenses while gaining invaluable work experience. The majority of FWS jobs are located on campus.

LOWERING THE COST OF TEXTBOOKS Students can pursue classes – and even an entire degree program – that offer no-cost or low-cost (less than $40) textbooks. Instead of requiring the purchase of expensive textbooks, SCC provides Open Educational Resources, low-cost instructional materials, library resources, and more as part of its academic content.
