SCOTT SCHOLARS CAREER WEEK 2025

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Launched in 2022, Scott Scholars Career Week connects our high-achieving STEM students with leading employers across industries through meaningful engagement opportunities aligned with students’ academic and professional goals.

Through these intentional partnerships with industry leaders and state-of-the-art laboratories, Scott Scholars secure competitive internships year after year that often translate into full-time employment upon graduating.

This year ’ s iteration of Career Week was our program ’ s biggest and most ambitious yet, with an expanded menu of engagement options featuring four new events and over a dozen new industry partners.

We’re exceptionally grateful for these collaborative relationships that extend across the University of Nebraska System, the Omaha community, and beyond. It is our hope that these connections will actively combat Midwest brain drain and contribute to Walter Scott, Jr.’s desire to keep the best and the brightest minds close to home.
