Tania Clarke Hall’s jewellery is innovative, sculptural and bold. Flashes of colour highlight hand-cut, twisted and moulded leather forms so that flat pieces of leather playfully transform into multidimensional necklaces. Regarding leather as her ‘perfect creative playmate’ Tania produces confident, eye-catching and versatile pieces. Her designs are driven by a love of experimentation and her desire to challenge the way in which leather is used in jewellery. Her inspiration is eclectic: the Japanese aesthetic of wabi sabi, the beauty of geometric solutions and tribal jewellery.
