Food & Drink, said: “Food and Drink businesses in Scotland have faced an extraordinarily difficult year and many have had to put their growth ambitions on hold to deal with the everyday challenges to continue trading. “But while we don’t know how long we’ll be facing the existing challenges of Covid-19 restrictions and Brexit, food and drink businesses need to focus on growth if the sector is going to successfully recover.
The Scottish food and drink sector has, however, confronted change and uncertainty in recent months, and all parts of the supply chain have been affected. That’s why the Scotland Food & Drink Partnership has created the On The Table campaign; to get the Scottish food and drink industry back on the front foot and encourage more Scottish produce back on our tables. We’re delighted to support this campaign as a member of the partnership by highlighting and sharing the incredible range of produce. This will not only have a positive effect on livelihoods and local communities but, most importantly, it will help Scotland’s food and drink industry thrive.
