Welcome SCOTS PGC Collegians!
We have plenty of exciting news to share with you about our beloved College. This academic year, we have exceeded expectations with an enrolment of over 500 students. We take pride in the quality education and exceptional learning experience that we offer our students, and we acknowledge that our past students have played a significant role in the success of the College.
We are also thrilled to have 17 past students on staff this year, who are eager to reconnect with their old friends and share their experiences of working at the College. They are a testament to the values and ideals that we instil in our students, and we take great pride in having them as part of our team.
The 2023 March Reunion is an event we are all looking forward to. Whether it has been just a few years or several decades since you graduated, we are excited to welcome you back to our stunning campus and hear about your adventures since leaving SCOTS PGC College.
The reunion promises to be a memorable event, with a range of activities planned, including campus tours. It is an excellent opportunity to reconnect with old friends and teachers, witness the College’s growth and development, and reminisce about your time here.
We look forward to seeing you soon.

CALLING ALL SCOTS PGC Alumni
If you’re a past student or staff member from the last 45 years, you’re bound to have come across Mr Peter Pickering during your time here. He is a living legend and is still here at the College imparting his wise words to the students of today.
In honour of Mr Pickering’s 45 years (and still counting) service to our College community, we will be dedicating ‘The Peter Pickering Staff Common Room’ as a tribute to his hard work and dedication to SCOTS PGC.
Please join us and be part of this wonderful milestone on Friday, 17 March from 4.30 to 5.30pm on Piper’s Knoll (on the Oxenham St Campus) for afternoon drinks and refreshments.
This is a great opportunity to come back, reconnect and congratulate Mr Pickering in person on his service. It’s also the day before our Past Student Reunion (Saturday 18 March) so it’s a great time to visit!

We want to continue our proud tradition of educating future leaders and for that, we need your support in these areas:
May 2022 floods saw Briggs Oval caught in the deep, and our iconic picket fence has pulled up stumps and declared it’s time to retire.
We ask you to whack a few 6s our way and help us achieve the required run rate to ensure a new innings is played.

PARIS BELL | CLASS OF 2009
Paris is a flower farmer who runs Woodshed Flower Co on her farm at Furner. She diversified her operations by using land unsuitable for cattle to grow Australian native flowers such as Banksia plants. Initially having someone else manage the flowers, she gained experience and took over the operation herself in 2020. She supplies her flowers mostly to local wholesalers and also puts together arrangements and runs flower arranging workshops.
The Australian flower industry has been revitalized since the pandemic as consumers turn to locally-grown blooms, and Paris Bell is evolving her operations to meet growing demand for wilderlooking specimens

Leadership Induction
SCOTS PGC College takes great pride in its history of alumni engagement. This is evident by the fact that 14% of the current student body is made up of descendants of past students. The College’s strong emphasis on building and maintaining a thriving alumni community ensures that its traditions and legacy are passed down from one generation to the next, creating a close-knit and vibrant community. It is worth noting that many of the current College Captains, Vice-Captains, and Prefects are themselves descendants of past students, further highlighting the College’s commitment to preserving its heritage.
‘Today I say to our leaders, Do not underestimate your influence”. Our prefects and captains, and indeed our Year 12s, will all change the school this year. The question is not if, but how will they change it?’
