A conversation with the Head of College Mr John Weeks

Gathering Under the Stars It was a fantastic opportunity for almost 300 of us to gather together at Abercrombie House last Saturday. Not many stars this year with the thunder and lightning and rain! Nonetheless, it was an exceptional night for members of our far-flung community to come together and catch up again after the past two years of COVID-19 restrictions. Ours is a growing community bringing together parents, College staff, past students, members of the Council and lifelong supporters. Thank you for your attendance, and we look forward to many more ‘gatherings’ in the post-covid era! To our organisers, Amanda Kemp and Gemma Green, a big thank you for putting it all together… you did an exceptional job and to Lauren Cant, Year 12, who performed all night (under difficult circumstances), you were awesome. Next Rapid Antigen Home Test (RAHT) distribution The NSW Department of Education has provided the College with new Rapid Antigen Home Testing kits, which will be distributed over the next few days. Junior School Campus Preparatory School, Junior (Years K–6) 70 Eglinton Road BATHURST NSW 2795

Senior School Campus Senior, Boarding (Years 7-12) 4173 O’Connell Road BATHURST NSW 2795

These will come home with your child in their bag. During the first four weeks of Term 1, surveillance testing was underway involving students testing with RAHTs twice a week. This has since moved to symptomatic testing for the remainder of Term 1, and an additional five tests will be provided to each child. If your child has symptoms of COVID-19, please keep them at home and undertake testing. Regardless of the test result, symptomatic children need to be kept at home until their symptoms have resolved. Thank you for your support. Scots All Saints P&F Meeting Our first on-site, face-to-face meeting will be held on the Junior School Campus in the Kemmis Hall on Wednesday, 16 March 2022. Join us in person or via Zoom from 5:30 pm.
