A conversation with the Head of College Mr John Weeks
Remembrance Day – 11/11/2020 Across our College campuses our students and staff gathered to express our gratitude to the women and men of our Country, who have served and continue to serve our nation in times of conflict. We especially remember those women and men, who in the service of our nation, lost their lives on foreign shores. There have been many students from our College who have served in places around the world to oppose the aggressive threats to our values and beliefs. Our College history begins in 1874 and students have seen battle in the Sudan, Boer War, The Great War (WWI), World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Malaya, East Timor, Iraq and Afghanistan. We not only remember them and are thankful for what they have done, but we are, through our Remembrance Day Service, reminded of the human cost of conflict and challenged to find a better way. The student addresses were exceptional and are available by clicking this link.
