Scotch College Academic and Sport Uniforms

The Scotch uniform identifies each boy as a member of our school, and assists by creating a sense of unity, pride and loyalty in its wear. Boys are encouraged to wear their uniform neatly and correctly, and in accordance with the guidelines.
The Scotch College Uniform Guide has been developed to explain the Academic and Sport Uniforms and to provide guidelines relating to their wear.
Please note that official Scotch College clothing is only available from the Scotch Shop located on campus at 4 Morrison Street, Hawthorn or online at scotch.vic.edu.au.

The College’s Academic Uniform is designed with a wardrobing approach, meaning boys can select any piece from the collection that suits their preference, at any time of the year.

The Sports Cap (red) is also available for specific sports (Tennis and Touch Rugby).

Please refer to the Scotch College Sports Uniform Matrix and speak with the TIC of your sport for further information.
Boys supporting firsts teams should be in full Academic or full Sport uniform.

Numbers are worn in the following sports: basketball, football, futsal, hockey, soccer, touch football and volleyball and in rugby union 1st Team only.
Numbers for ‘All School’ teams are generated by the size of the garment you purchase. Based on modern manufacturing process of sublimation printing directly on the fabric, the number is pre-printed onto the garment at the time of production.
All teams at each level have numbers with a consistent modern professional look and will allow for easier identification of players.
The numbers within the Scotch College sport program will range from 1-99 and will be allocated on a random basis at the time of purchasing your sports top.
1st Teams will require TICs to support the numbering allocation through direct communication with the Scotch Shop and boys. This is done initially at the start of the season and when boys are added into 1st Teams.
