A Message to Our Members The 2020 ’Sconset Trust Annual Report does not accurately reflect the past year, only the financial side. Although the Trust could not host the annual Gala or any other large events, we were busier than ever: •

The increased use of Ruddick Commons as a recreational trail led us to create another walk in the heart of the village: the Heller Trail off Morey Lane.

•

We have worked with the ’Sconset Civic Association and the Town of Nantucket on a new Area Plan for the village. Thanks to all who responded to the Civic Association survey. This will help us address the pressing issues in the village.

•

Our house history program continues to grow. Come by the office to read a few!

•

We focus daily on land and preservation concerns, including our treasured village center.

•

We were pleased to host many small, outdoor events, including nature and tree walks and the very popular Barnaby Bear Hunt.

Our overwhelming need for your membership and generous support cannot be exaggerated. You have all allowed the Trust to continue its mission, and we cannot thank you enough.
