3. GROW SUMMER CAMP

GROW is the biggest nationwide youth development program with sessions conducted by international trainers. In this 7 years, it has become not only a long term, non-formal educational engagement designed to improve the quality of education in Romania, but also a family, a constant challenge and endless learning opportunities.

Between 26th and 31th August 2016, at Şăulia Camp from Mureş, GROW Summer Camp brought together for the second time all the fantastic former GROW participants, along with Romanian and International trainers,in orderto transform them into#GameChangers.

4. LABORATORUL DE CARIERE

2. EXCEPŢIONALII Excepţionalii is the project that brings a perfect balance between personal and professional development for the elite of Romanian high schoolers: a week of non-formal workshops, meetings with public figures from various domains and visits in companies which encourage the participants to step-up and create their own educational projects with impact in their communities.

Laboratorul de Cariere is a student’s best friend: mentors, online courses, cool articles, various learning resources and job opportunities. After the project’s completion, all of these were gathered on a cool-looking online platform, available to all passionate learners.

7. RAFTUL CU EXPERIENŢE

Teamwork, creativity and enthusiasm have brought together teachers and pupils from all over the country in this innovative competition sponsored by Kaufland România in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research.

Raftul cu Experienţe is a project created in partnership with Kaufland România and designed for high schoolers interested in a career in retail. It perfectly combines workshops that develop and sharpen soft skills,and also target the expertise of professionals and internship opportunities in Kaufland stores.

6. ZENTIVA EXPRESS The 5th edition of Zentiva Express kept the tradition of supporting teenagers from technical high schools towards a successful career. Workshops designed to help teenagers discover personal values, systemic thinking or how to take decisions are just a few of the challenges that participants had to encounter in order to enter behind the doors of the well-known pharmaceutical company, Zentiva.

8. DRUM SIGUR Drum Sigur rediscovers by the help of Carmeuse România the potential of teenagers studying in technical and vocational high schools. This year’s edition has focused around 5 days of non-formal education and 2 weeks of practice in Carmeuse’s factories.

9. BANI DE BUZUNAR 2.0

11. ANTREPRENOR DE VIITOR

Bani de Buzunar 2.0 is an excellent alternative created with ING for any teenager who wants to get acquainted with financial topics such as budgets, investments, costs or profits. It is the Romanian pioneer of projects designed for high school students for a “blended learning” system that combines face-to-face learning and online workshops

Antreprenor de Viitor developed by ING, was designed to unfold the secrets of entrepreneurial education for teenagers. It combines face-to-face sessions, online workshops, relevant learning resources, teamwork and prizes in order to boost the courage and the level of knowledge of our future young entrepreneurs.

12. GENERAŢIA AUCHAN

10. ADOPTĂ UN LICEU Adoptă un Liceu started in 2013, but 2016 was the year when the project stepped up to the next level. In Craiova, the project orbited around personal development, entrepreneurial skills, scholarships and internships, but also around some innovative mathematics sessions and inspiring meetings with local role models. In Bucureşti it was all about non-formal education and practice in Auchan stores.

2

2016 was the starting year for Generaţia Auchan, a 3-year learning experience created to shape the outline of a career in retail. The program combines, by the means of a non-formal style 4 days of applied mathematics, 4 days of personal development and practice in Auchan stores with professional mentors.

13. GfK VOCATIONAL SCHOOL

15. GfK RESEARCH LAB

Following the same recipe as GfK Research Lab, with 1 week focused on soft skills and 3 weeks on technical skills, GfK Vocational School is addressed students who finished high school but were not ready yet to start college. They took a year off to find the right path for themselves and this project is giving them the confidence boost they need and new opportunities for the future.

GfK Research Lab is a brand new project created with GfK targeting students. It includes 1 week in which soft skills are sharpened and 3 weeks of internship in GfK Iaşi divided into different modules: scripting, data processing and charting. At the end of the program, participants with the best results are rewarded with scholarships, internships and job opportunities to help them research the world.

16. ATELIERELE HOLCIM 14. ACADEMIA HOLCIM Academia Holcim has the goal to transform students into technical professionals, even before finishing their studies. The project consists of 2 days of non-formal education, 2 days of work experience in Holcim factory at Câmpulung Muscel, continuous feedback and internship opportunities

17. BURSELE stART

19. LEADERSHIP SUMMER SCHOOL

Scholarship-based program created with Provident to support Romanian young talents that share a passion for painting, drawing or music.

Şcoala de Valori was the proud organizing partner of the 9th edition of Leadership Summer School (LSS), which is a global, annual, 10-day intensive training event for active, entrepreneurial individuals, who want to have an impact in their communities and organisations. LSS fosters leadership skills and international cooperations and was founded by Zero Generation
