Sappiamo che per questo shooting ti sei ispirato a Yayoi Kusama e a Christo e Jeanne-Claude. Perché li hai scelti?

Quando è stato annunciato il tema dell’arte, ho pensato a come avrei disegnato questo quadro. Con l’intensità e gli elementi aggiunti alla moda dai punti di Yayoi Kusama, avevo bisogno di qualcosa che attenuasse il rumore della “tela”, e così ho deciso di incorporare oggetti avvolgenti ispirati alle opere di Cristo e Jeanne-Claude.

Hai scelto una location molto particolare. Dove si trova e che impatto ha avuto sul tuo lavoro?

Questa è la tenuta di Loughcrew a Oldcastle, in Irlanda, restaurata da una donna straordinaria, lady Emily Naper. È la “tela” perfetta per questo servizio: un luogo ricco di arte, fascino, unicità e belle persone.

Qual è il tuo genere d’arte preferito?

È difficile sceglierne una preferita, credo che l’arte creata dalla natura sia la forma più alta.

We know you got inspired by Yayoi Kusama and Christo and Jeanne-Claude for this shooting. Why did you choose them?

When the ‘art’ theme was announced I was thinking how will I draw this picture. So with intensity and added elements to fashion from Yayoi Kusama dots, I needed something to mute the noise of the ‘canvas’, and so I decided to incorporate wrapping objects as inspired by Cristo and Jeanne-Claude works.

You have chosen a very particular location. Where is it and how did it impact your work?

This is the Loughcrew Estate in Oldcastle, Ireland, restored by an extraordinary woman, lady Emily Naper. It is the perfect ‘canvas’ for this shoot: a place full of art, charm, uniqueness and beautiful people.

What kind of art is your favourite?

Difficult to choose a favourite one, I believe that art that is created by nature is the highest form of it.

La camicia: un grande classico che ogni generazione interpreta a modo suo. Qual è il tuo?

La indosso con jeans oversize e delle belle scarpe basse!

Oppure con una sciarpa di seta, perfetta per una camicia oversize e pantaloni eleganti un po’ svasati! Sono più per l’oversize che per lo slim!

Qual è il tuo look d’artista preferito?

Devo dire che i look di Harry Styles sono sempre belli e mi sorprendono ogni volta! Adoro quel suo vestirsi semplice ma interessante!

Qual è l’opera d’arte del tuo cuore?

Ne ho molte! In questo momento mi ispiro a Hilma af Klint, ma domani sarà un’altra cosa!

The shirt: a great classic that every generation interprets in its own way. What is yours?

The shirt I wear with oversized denim and some nice flat shoes! Or with a scarf that is silky, nice with an oversized shirt with dressed trousers that are a little bit flared to! I am more for oversize than slim!

Which artist’s look is your favorite?

I have to say that Harry Styles’ looks always nice and surprise me! Love his simple but interesting style!

What is the artwork of your heart?

Have many! Just right now l am inspired of Hilma af Klint but tomorrow will be something else!
