Prices are correct at time of publishing but are subject to change (without notice) in the event of a price increase from the relevant manufacturer due to global forces, raw material problems, etc... Returns and credits

Goods may not be returned for credit without prior approval from Science Supply and only if advised within 7 days of delivery. Where a return is being made due to an item that has been incorrectly ordered or is no longer required by the customer (not our error), the cost of shipping will be the responsibility of the customer. A ‘goods return number’ [GRN] must be obtained from SSA prior to return. N.B: restocking charges may apply.

Stock availability

This price guide / catalogue is not a stock list - however the majority of these items are stocked either in our store or from the relevant manufacturer.

Restricted chemicals

*Regulations have recently been amended in regards to the supply of some chemicals.

For specified EUD required products, an End User Declaration (EUD) must be completed each time the item is purchased. The completed form (must be emailed) and driver’s licence will be forwarded to the Victorian State Police and your order will be dispatched once we receive approval. Please note - schools are NOT exempt.

Poisons - Schedule 4 & 7 poisons can only be supplied upon verification of a permit from the relevant state government health department. The supply of certain chemicals is pursuant to the current Victorian & Federal Government legislation to prevent the diversion of chemicals and equipment intended for the manufacture of illicit substances. In some cases, a declaration form (EUD) may be required for submission to the relevant authorities for approval. Once approved, the order can then be processed. Undenatured ethanol is available for official educational institutions up to a maximum of 1,000lt per year. Should the annual usage be above those levels, an ATO spirits permit will be required.

Warranties

Warranties offered are in conjunction with the relevant manufacturer. Due to the nature of usage and/or materials, some items are not offered with a warranty (i.E. Glassware, plastic products, etc…), except when there is an obvious manufacturing defect.

Metropolitan areas :

Melbourne / Sydney $20.00 + GST per order

Brisbane / Adelaide $25.00 + GST per order

Country areas :

Vic $25 + GST

NSW / SA $30.00 + GST per carton *

TAS $35.00 + GST per carton *

QLD / WA / NT $40.00 + GST per carton *

No extra charges apply for back-ordered items. Large / bulky items (ovens, cabinets, etc…) may attract additional charges.

Dangerous Goods delivery surcharge

If you are ordering Dangerous Goods you will attract a “DG delivery surcharge”.

Vic country $10.00 +GST.

All interstate metro & country $20+GST

* Wherever possible, we minimise the number and size of cartons shipped for each order. This depends on the total number of items as well as the physical size & weight. However, the regulations for the transport of Dangerous Goods require that certain DG classes must be packed separately and shipped on different trucks. As an example, an order for Classes 4, 5 & 6 will require a minimum of 3 cartons and will be delivered at different times due to having to be shipped on separate trucks.
