VETERINARY ASSISTANT 4-6 MONTHS | ONLINE WITH EXTERNSHIP The Veterinary Assistant program prepares learners for a new career in the field of veterinary medicine. Participants will learn about the care of animals as well as how to recognize signs of illness and disease in a variety of animals from common pets to exotic species. This program also covers interpersonal communication, interaction with clients and their animals, as well as how to assist the veterinarian during examinations.

BANKING 6 MONTHS | ONLINE
WHAT IS THE BANKING CERTIFICATION? This one-of-a-kind program is tailored for professionals already working in entry-level positions within banks. Over six months, you’ll complete six modules in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Credit Analysis, and Commercial Banking—plus a capstone project carried out at your own bank. The capstone gives you the opportunity to apply classroom concepts directly to your day-to-day work, with supervision from your employer and support from Schreiner faculty.

Schreiner University’s Vino de las Colinas program, developed under the leadership of award-winning Texas winemaker John Rivenburgh, directly responds to these regional workforce needs. This certificate emphasizes hands-on, practical viticulture training, allowing students to actively participate in real-world vineyard tasks throughout the Texas Hill Country. MECHATRONICS 6 MONTHS | IN-PERSON Schreiner University’s Mechatronics Certificate Program prepares students to enter the fast-growing field of advanced manufacturing. This hands-on, hybrid program teaches the core components of mechatronics: mechanics, electronics, computer systems, and automation, through a flexible learning format that blends online modules with in-person lab sessions in our state-of-the-art Engineering Lab. HIGH SCHOOL CERTIFICATIONS HEALTHCARE If you are scheduled to graduate from an accredited high school or GED program within 12 months of taking the exam, you may receive a Provisional Certification. All provision certifications must be converted into a Full Certification within those 12 months by providing proof of graduation and completion of program hours if required.
IT CERTIFICATIONS A High School Diploma or GED is not required for these exams.
REAL ESTATE CERTIFICATIONS Texas requires that you be a US Citizen or lawfully admitted alien, at least 18 years old, and deemed honest, trustworthy, and of integrity by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) You have 12 months to pass your exam.
MECHATRONICS CERTIFICATIONS A High School Diploma is not required to obtain the certification. Please see the website for a comprehensive list of certifications. The Real Estate Certification, IT and Mechatronics programs all permit obtaining a certification while in high school. See website for more information on the Healthcare programs, as some may require a diploma to obtain.
