Project: R Update After routine testing Project R has been used around the facility for utility purposes. It’s ability to corrode metal and dispose of defective or outmoded robo-helpers. It’s ability to dedect metal even in organic material is also very astounding. Plastics and glass containment reccomended since the deterrioraton process isn’t as fast. x

(Atomic Power Conglomerate) have already taken an interest in Project: R and have already made several offers to purchase the rights to utilize and mass produce it.

Despite protests that R should be put through more testing, the higher ups have decided to go through with the marketing and selling of R.

Project: R operations Objective: Carry out various tasks in areas that are either too hazardous for high ranking personnel or for civilians.

Project: R containment procedure Containment area is to be kept behind two reverse-pressure airlocks with a deconamination shower and incinerator. Chemical shower sterilization, full contained-atmosphere hazmat suits, and 24-hour post-interaction quarantine and testing are mandatory for all personnel entering containment area. Should containment be breached, or contaminaton confirmed in one or more of workers exposed to R, the blast door for the containment and research area will seal, and chemical agent REDACTED will be pumped into the air and the incinerator activated. Project: R infected records Subjects infected by R have, at early stages, reported no major symptoms, aside from increased lethargy, and a general lack of emotional response. Some have reported a feeling of “poking” or “slithering” under the skin. A higher increase in iron and other metals has also been observed in afflicted individuals.

Project: R infected records Initial infection of R is, as has been already stated, almost undetectable. As the infection advances, subjects will begin to feel sharp, “stabbing” pain in areas that are being affected and “altered.”

It has been compared to a knife wound or a deep muscle tear, and can persist for hours, or several days, depending on both the subject and the area affected. It appears as though R is starting to cause copper, iron, and zinc deficiencies in afflicted subjects.

And though we assured them that was not the case with R they were most of them were not as inclined to believe us. We made a compromise with some of our closer allies by allowing troops in the Northwestern passage of the United Provinces. This appeasement has satiated our allied nations for a time, althoughit has come at a great cost to us.

excerpt from news station January 27th REDACTED “In local news a family has fallen ill to an unknown disease.

Pathologists have told us it is unlike anything that we have ever seen. Eyewitness reports claim that the afflicted family was exuding some sort of black substance and that the substance was emanating a metallic sent.”

This is very serious guys if this is the result of R, then we need to construct a contingency plan for containment or in a worst case senario, class REDACTED decontamination.

It appears as though that R has taken some defensive measures against us. I know it’s

rather silly to think as though this stuff is sentient but there are days where I could be fooled to think otherwise. I digress, R has appeared to take measures against us in the form of hardening its composition. During tests, it was estimated that its density was equal to that of titanium. Therefore blunt force as well as any other kinetic weapons on hand will be close to useless. Fire seems to have some minimal effect on R however, as well as low temperatures.

This should not count as R’s erradication however, since it seems to only put it in a dormant state.

Project: R update NO. 2 There was a containment breach today.

A large sample of R infected one of the E-class cleaning crew and completely covered him from head to toe spearing no inch of his body.

Right now Chief Surgeon Elliot is keeping him under level 5 quarantine until we can be sure that all traces of R have been from his system.

If subject is still exhibiting symptoms, traces of R still found in his system, or if R has not been cleansed from the surface layer of skin then Elliot has been permitted to terminate afflicted individual and has been permitted to fabricate a cover-up story for the E-class personnel’s next of kin.

On a personal note, thank god that the Hippocratic Oath got turned into the Hippocratic Suggestion a while back.

Project: R situation update August 2nd REDACTED Dr. Shen, I’ve recieved a disturbing update from our undercover field operatives in the S.E. Commonweath of the U.P.A., the United Kingdoms, and the Chinese Confederate States.

It appears that R has started to manipulate portions of the brain to influence the afflicted individuals to perfrom complex tasks. Some of our agents have reported that the afflicted are forming some kind of cult around R. They call it, The Church of the Liquid Metal. At first they didn’t seem like much of a threat, but now they’re intenionally exposing people to R. Our operatives managed to stop them from tainting the water supply in Paris, but this was way too close for comfort.

Transcript from U.P.A legislature Septempber 2nd

“As much as this pains us, all branches of the United Provinces have agreed to go foward with your plan.
