HUMBLE BEGINNINGS IN THE HOUSE OF SPEED
Out of a small shop in Escalon, California, in 1959 Ray Hook turned his passion to go fast into creating the world’s finest racing oil. Hook, an avid racer, was part of the emerging California racing scene. At that time he noticed go-kart racers were having trouble with their engines failing on petroleum-based oil. Hook went to work under the name of Add Zip Additives and developed a formulation using castor oil, because of its strong lubricating ability along with its unique feature of
going to the internal heat. His new creation allowed the engines to finish the race, and with that Blendzall was born. The name “Blendzall” described how his newly invented oil would blend perfectly with all fuel types. In the decades to follow Blendzall has become the “Choice of Champions” from racing circuits around the world. Both on-road and off-road , from two-wheels to four, Blendzall has been in the mix. Still regarded as the best 2T engine oil available today, Blendzall has continued to develop and evolve to offer a complete line of performance lubricants to service the needs of both 2T and 4T racers.
