COVID-19 statistics
Last year at this time, cases in Ohio were spiking, leading into a COVID-19 winter peak. However, positive cases have started declining in early October 2021 after another coronavirus peak in July and August. According to the New York Times’ statistics, the above graph shows new cases and ranges from the pandemic’s start on March 19, 2020, to October 6, 2021. There were 6,296 new confirmed positives for Oct. 6 in Ohio.
