Pride and a cub’s rite of passage

The Moores also got to visit a watering hole while in Uganda. They were able to see elephants, hippos, eagles, hornbills, wildebeests, and lions while there. The Moores mentioned that things can get very brutal for lion cubs in the savanna. Male cubs eventually reach a point where they’re chased out of the pride by the patriarch so that they start their own legacy.
