HEAVY-DUTY ROTARY VALVES ZSL & ZSS CERTIFIED FOR EXPLOSIVE APPLICATIONS
ROTARY VALVES: BUILT TO MEET THE HIGHEST REQUIREMENTS Rotary valves are used to discharge dust, chipboard shavings, and fibrous bulk materials as well as to serve as shut-off devices. Airlocks are designed to accommodate a wide range of sizes and throughput volumes. For applications where explosion protection is needed, ATEX type-tested rotary valves (resistant to ignition and flame penetration) are available.
MODEL ZSL ▪ Ideal for free-flowing dust, light fibres and high-volume materials ▪ The rotor is built into a bolted casing. ▪ Sealing lips are attached to the rotor blades. ▪ Flow rates: 35 to 9,122 m3/hr ▪ Maximum differential pressure: 8,000 Pa ▪ Available in stainless steel
MODEL ZSS ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪ ▪
Ideal for processing metallic and non-metallic chips, large or fine free-flowing dust, as well as minerals. Abrasion resistant steel with hard chrome plating welded casing Adjustable rotor blade tips Flow rates: 25 to 830 m3/hr Maximum differential pressure: 80,000 Pa Available in stainless steel
1,800 rotary valves are manufactured in Aurolzmünster, Austria every year since 1980. Scheuch COMPONENTS’s rotary valves, including stainless steel models, are ATEX certified to contain possible explosions.
