Digital program: LAUREN ALAINA

Georgina-born Lauren Alaina, praised by Rolling Stone for her “powerhouse, honey-toned vocals that meld timeless twang with modern sass,” continues her “limitless upward trajectory” (American Songwriter) as one of country music's most magnetic entertainers. Her new single “Raining Whiskey” follows previously released “All My Exes (featuring Chase Matthew),” marking her biggest first-week streaming numbers of Alaina's career. A dynamic live act, Lauren will support Darius Rucker on his Songs of Summer Tour this year; with Rascal Flatts on their Life is a Highway Tour in 21 U.S. cities this year; and has also shared the stage with Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Martina McBride, Jason Aldean, and sold out her own, first-ever headlining That Girl Was Me tour.

A proud member of the Grand Ole Opry since 2022, she was inducted by her childhood hero Trisha Yearwood. Alaina has earned three Number 1 hits: platinum-certified “Road Less Traveled,” the 4x Platinum “ONE BEER” with HARDY and Devin Dawson, and Diamond-certified “What Ifs” with her childhood

friend Kane Brown. With “What Ifs,” Alaina became the only solo female country artist in history to receive the RIAA's Diamond song certification. Her Number 1 debuting album Sitting Pretty On Top of The World, featured her RIAA-certified Gold-selling “Getting Good.” Also a best-selling and firsttime author, she released her inspirational book, Getting Good at Being You: Learning to Love Who God Made You to Be and it was the #1 New Release on two of Amazon’s sales charts in its first week of release. In 2019, Alaina was a contestant on the twentyeighth season of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars and placed fourth with her partner Gleb Savchenko. Alaina starred in the Hallmark Channel movie Roadhouse Romance in 2021 to rave reviews and the movie became the #1 most-watched entertainment cable program at release. The vocalist has performed on some of the highest-profile stages in the world including PBS' A Capitol Fourth, Dancing with the Stars, American Idol, CBS' Beyond The Edge, ABC's The Bachelorette, TODAY, Good Morning America, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, ABC's CMA Fest specials, CMA and ACM Awards, Nickelodeon's All That, Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day halftime performance, MLB's World Series

national anthem performance, a performance at the White House for President Obama, and more.

The Rossville, Georgia, native took flight at a very young age. She began singing at age three and did so pretty much anywhere she could: churches, restaurants, karaoke, family gatherings and, by age eight, talent shows. She won one after another between trips to perform in Nashville, so it shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone who knew her that, as a teen, Alaina would step away from serving pizza at CiCi's to try out for American Idol. Though she was the Season 10 runner-up, she scored big with a Mercury Nashville record deal, and her first LP, 2011's Wildflower, was the best-selling debut from a female country star since 2006. While that set featured big, crisp production, it was fueled by laid-back grooves, driving Southern rock and the occasional banjo strum.

Alaina's long-awaited follow-up, 2016's Road Less Traveled, carried that same feeling forward but with more modern flourishes. The songs also brought new insight into Alaina's personal life, as she sang about family struggles, romantic troubles and, most importantly, making it to the other side. Alaina moves between upbeat sing-alongs full of Southern shout-outs and heartfelt autobiographical ballads that often end with the

artist shedding a few tears herself. Her music supports its old twang with new tech, and her knack for classic storytelling is infused with modern messages of empowerment, acceptance and self-love. She is a two-time CMT Music Award winner, has received one Academy of Country Music Award, and is a twotime Country Music Association Award nominee.

Following the birth of her daughter in June 2025, Alaina told The Bobby Bones Show in February 2026 that becoming a mom is her "favorite thing ever," despite the challenges of touring.

She released her first 2026 single, "Raining Whiskey," describing it as a "sassy" song about looking back on her twenties from her new chapter in her thirties. In a vulnerable May 6, 2026, interview on "The Upload," she shared her journey through grief following the losses of her father and stepfather, and her renewed faith.
