EMILY NEBEKER
(Mouse) Emily feels particularly at home in If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, because she spends her days raising three adorable, extremely energetic little mice of her own. She knows firsthand that if you give a kid a cookie, chances are they’ll ask for a glass of milk—and end up spilling it. You’ll spend all morning wiping down both the kitchen and living room (somehow the milk made its way onto the sofa from the dining table), while answering fifty-two questions that have no relation to each other, and then having a karaoke party in your bedroom while your nicely made bed gets thrown into shambles from all the jumping. She’s incredibly grateful for the crew that helps her clean up the messes—both at home and at SCERA—and especially to Brodee and Kelsey for loving her kids and giving her the chance to create and tell stories. And above all, she’s grateful to Jesus Christ for giving her a life full of people to love, stories to tell, and reasons to laugh. He has a way of making something beautiful out of all her messes.
GRACE OBORN
(Boy) Grace Oborn is hyped for the opportunity to serve part of her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints right here in Orem doing what she loves! She trained at Utah COPA in singing and dancing for 11 years growing up, graduated as American’s Fork High School’s Speech and Drama Sterling Scholar, placed 1st with her trio in the 6A Division of the annual Shakespeare Festival Competition in 2022, and choreographed a bit for Timpview’s Drama Department during her time as a student at Brigham Young University. Apart from theatre, she finds interest in human psychology, “every style of dance,” jump-roping, creative writing, character/game design, special FX makeup, coding and songwriting, voice acting, and any other creative hobby she can get her hands on. She’s enjoyed being part of several productions across the community at the Hale Center Theater Orem, The Ruth, most recently Frozen at SCERA Shell, and is so excited to be back for more family fun! “I sure hope my little brother is proud of my performance. I draw much of my inspiration for this character from him.”

CHASE ELISON
CRYSTA LAMB (Production Manager)
(Lighting Designer / Sound & Lighting Manager) Chase has been involved in theatre nearly all of his life. He has designed lighting and sound for many productions at the Lehi Arts Center. He has also helped schools and teachers around the valley with training and maintenance on their lighting and sound equipment. As SCERA’s Sound and Lighting Manager, Chase has been designing and leading the technical aspects for nearly a hundred main stage productions and countless other events. Chase loves being a part of the behind-the-scenes magic, and would like to thank his late grandparents for getting him involved in theatre and the arts, his family and partner Matt for being his rock and always supporting him.
Crysta has worked as a stage manager and theatre technician around the valley for many years, but is happiest to call SCERA her home. She has been part of the SCERA since 2011 and is proud to help bring its productions to life alongside an incredibly creative and talented team. Some of her favorite SCERA credits include Frozen, Hello, Dolly!, Mary Poppins, The Scarlet Pimpernel, Beauty and the Beast, Bye Bye Birdie, Oklahoma!, and Les Misérables. Crysta also works at BYU as the Dance Production Stage Manager, overseeing more than 20 dance productions each year across contemporary, cultural, ballet, world, and ballroom. Much love and thanks to Daxton and her SCERA family for their constant love and support!

Most recently he directed Disney’s Frozen at the SCERA Shell. He has been seen performing in productions at SCERA, both Hale Centre Theatres, Lehi Arts Center, Pleasant Grove Players, Sundance, and The Historic Jackson Hole Playhouse. He has always been inspired by the creativity of SCERA's sets, especially on the outdoor stage, so is excited to be building them himself. His love for set construction has been strengthened by his family who have all built many sets alongside him. He is grateful for his Pops and Mrs. Wygant for teaching him the craft as well as his SCERA tech family for their support and camaraderie! "The real credit goes to my amazing staff!
