Kea (also called Tzia) is characterised by hilly countryside and quiet beaches. The local waters are home to several shipwrecks, including Titanic’s sister ship, Britannic, which sank in 1916. With earthy tones and elegant architecture that differs from other Greek islands, Kea is also known for its verdant natural paradise, home to rare plant species and wild animals.

Quieter than its more famous neighbours, Paros is the perfect blend of traditional architecture, stunning beaches, vibrant nightlife and gorgeous little rural villages. In May Paros island is especially quiet, giving you ample opportunity to wander the beautiful alleys, explore the quaint local shops and admire the historic churches. Paros was a major source of flawless marble during the early Cycladic period and its stone was used in famous sculptures such as Venus de Milo and Napoleon’s tomb.
