Sun Deck

Bathing in the warm European sunlight, head to the top deck of our Star-Ships for panoramic rooftop views of the surrounding landscape. Lined with deckchairs and sun-loungers, there is no better way to relax and soak up the incredible surrounds unfurling before you. Stretch your legs on the walking track, challenge a fellow guest to some friendly competition in the games area , and even enjoy a weekly BBQ† prepared by our talented chefs.

Pool by day, cinema by night†

By day: a relaxing space to take a leisurely dip, enjoying the revitalising river breeze from the retractable roof. By night: a cleverly transformed cosy evening cinema, complete with complimentary popcorn. In addition to screenings of contemporary and classic films, on selective evenings, the space becomes Riverside Lounge, a blissful space to enjoy the river views, read a book, or socialise with fellow guests in the ambience of quiet, calming music and soft, subdued lighting.

Serenity Pool

Custom designed for warmer climes, Emerald Radiance, sailing Portugal’s Douro River, is home to the Serenity Pool. On Emerald Radiance, the indoor pool is replaced by the heated spa-style Serenity Pool. An idyllic setting to bask in the rays of the Portuguese sun, and marvel at the geography of the Douro. On movie evenings, films are screened here beneath a blanket of stars.

Fitness & wellness

Cater to mind, body, and spirit and return from onshore visits relaxed and revitalised. Enjoy a spa treatment, available at an additional cost; our highly-skilled masseurs will treat you with an invigorating massage or facial. Should you prefer to keep active, our well-equipped gym houses all the equipment needed to keep up with your exercise regimes.
