ProudtobeaPanther,

A faith community committed to following Jesus: Living the Gospel by Strengthening the Body, Challenging the Mind, Enriching the Spirit; Forming virtuous leaders for the Church and community.
As a Catholic school, faith and values are the foundation of everything we do This emphasis on faith creates a culture of spiritual growth and a deep sense of purpose and meaning making us different by design.
SCCS promotes a culture of respect for the inherent dignity of every person. We teach students to value and appreciate the uniqueness of each individual through respectful dialogue, empathy, and acceptance
Understanding that parents are the primary educators of their children, SCCS actively engages parents so that they can contribute to their child’s holistic development and strengthen the greater community.

Sandusky Central Catholic School (SCCS) is built on nearly 170 years of faith, dedication, and community Our story began in 1857 with St Mary’s School, growing from a small grade school into a legacy of excellence that continues to shape faith-filled leaders.
In 1902, Father Joseph Widman founded St. Mary’s High School with 25 students. Over the years, the campus expanded with new classrooms, a gym, science facilities, and the beloved Panther mascot introduced in 1936!
In 2002, St. Mary’s, Holy Angels, and Sts. Peter & Paul united to form Sandusky Central Catholic School. By 2013, all students, preschool through 12th grade, were together on one campus. The Kinzel Center, opened in 2014 through a generous gift from Dick and Judy Kinzel, became a hub for athletics, arts, and community events.
Today, SCCS continues to form students who excel academically, athletically, and spiritually; living the Gospel values that define our mission
As we look ahead, the Beyond Boundaries campaign builds on our legacy, transforming our campus, expanding opportunities, and ensuring that SCCS remains a beacon of faith and education for generations to come.
This is our time. This is our future.

At the heart of Sandusky Central Catholic School is something truly priceless, our educators. They are mentors, role models, and faith-filled leaders who pour their hearts into shaping the lives and futures of our students each and every day
The Exceptional Educators Endowment is a reflection of our deep gratitude and unwavering commitment to them. Many Catholic school teachers choose this vocation not for financial gain, but because they feel called to make a difference. Still, that calling often comes with sacrifice. This fund seeks to honor that sacrifice by helping bridge the gap and rewarding those who go above and beyond and ensuring they are supported, valued, and inspired to continue their incredible work
With a goal of $6,000,000 in planned gifts, the Educators Endowment will provide approximately $300,000 annually to enhance teacher compensation. More than numbers, this represents stability, dignity, and a promise that SCCS will continue to attract and retain exceptional educators who bring passion, excellence, and faith into our classrooms
This is a Planned Giving investment in people, the people who invest so much in our children.

The Innovation Commons is an exciting 17,500-square-foot addition to the Sandusky Central Catholic School campus that is designed to inspire curiosity, connection, and community
This dynamic new facility will serve as a central hub, featuring:

WelcomeCenter: Whereeveryfamilyfeels theheartofSCCSthemomenttheywalkin
Science Super Lab: Igniting curiosity and preparing students to lead in tomorrow’s world
Dining & Gathering Space: Building community through connection, collaboration, and celebration

New Kitchen: Fueling our students and elevating the experience on campus
Accessible Elevator: Opening every door so all can fully experience SCCS
Hall of Fame Legacy Hallway: Honoring our past while inspiring the next generation of Panthers

More than just a building, the Innovation Commons represents our bold commitment to preparing students for the future, supporting educators, and strengthening the Panther community.

Beyond Boundaries: The Campaign for Sandusky Central Catholic School invites every donor to make a powerful impact on our future. Invest with flexibility. Gifts to the campaign are fulfilled within 3-5 years, but we’ll gladly work with a timeline that fits you. With a variety of giving options and tax-deductible benefits, your support makes transformation possible. Please consult your financial advisor as you plan your gift.

These qualify for a charitable deduction in the year given and are limited to 50 percent of your adjusted gross income annually. Any amount exceeding this limit is eligible for a five-year carryover.
Securities held for more than one year may be donated using their full market value as a tax deduction, while avoiding capital gains taxes that would apply if the asset were sold.
A life insurance policy can be a powerful way to make a sizable impact at relatively low cost. Again, consultation with a financial advisor is recommended
These options allow you to participate in the campaign at levels you might not otherwise consider. Vehicles such as wills, charitable trusts, and other estate planning tools can provide long-term support for SCCS while meeting your financial and philanthropic goals. Our team is happy to work alongside your financial advisors to help identify the best approach for your situation.
