Thousands of people queued up to see him and he gave all the money away over four to five days. He is well-respected in Thailand.

西区军人节 集体宣誓效忠仪式 SINGAPORE ARMED FORCES (SAF) DAY COMBINED REDEDICATION CEREMONY 7月1日，本会在商团中心大礼堂举行西区军人节集体宣誓仪 式，数百名雇主、雇员与战备军人重申对国家的效忠。主礼 部长为国家发展部长黄循财。

The West Zone SAF Combined Rededication Ceremony organised by SCCCI was held at the Trade Association Hub on July 1, where hundreds of employers, employees and operationally-ready national servicemen took part to reaffirm their allegiance to the nation.
