During your treatment at the Center, the patient navigator/concierge team is available to assist with your n0n-medical needs. The staff are available Monday through Friday, during regular Center hours, and can be reached at concierge@seattleprotons.org or at (206) 306-2028. The team’s goal is to make your stay as stress-free and pleasant as possible while providing comfort to you during your treatment. Services include providing resources related to: • Accommodations, transportation, directions, and activities. • Networking opportunities for patients and their families. • Support groups and additional ways to get involved. • Child life specialists, who help children undergoing treatment understand the treatment process, give emotional support and more.

Connecting with other patients

Patient advocates Before or during your treatment at the Center, you may wish to connect with others who are going through proton therapy or have completed treatment. The patient navigator/ concierge team can make these arrangements for you. In turn, when you have completed treatment, you will have the opportunity to become a patient advocate yourself. If you’d like to share your story with patients considering proton therapy, please let the patient navigator/concierge team know at concierge@seattleprotons.org or (206) 306-2028.

Patient graduation We celebrate each patient’s treatment completion with a graduation ceremony, where they receive a diploma and a challenge coin with a number that is unique to them.

Center activities From support groups to patient tours, we are here to make you feel warm, welcome, engaged, and a part of our Center family.

Facebook and Facebook support group The Center has a public Facebook page that shares updates at the Center, wellness information, industry news and more. The Center also has a private Facebook group, which is available to patients who are undergoing or have undergone treatment. This closed group is a place for patients to share information or updates with other patients, ask questions or to get to know each other. Please “like” our public page and see the patient navigator/ concierge team to connect to our private group.
