Headed into 2025, we see even stronger demand for Salers bulls and, a higher demand than we can supply, in many cases, for premium Salers females! We are proud to offer 55 yearling bulls for 2025 that we feel have a fit for each farmers own program We’ve done all the work on the back end to ensure that these bulls come from quality cow lines, with correct structure that will deliver calving ease - with great milk production and high performance We are more than certain that they also bring valuable end-user traits like quality carcass and excellent hair to keep them warm in the winter.
Our customer base, has been building over the last several decades - many return buyers, and next generations coming back because using Salers bulls on heifers, or to make great females worth retaining has worked for them, and put more dollars in their bank account come calf check time It is commonly known that a great bull, starts with a great cow With a cow herd of 300, we are able to put the highest selection pressure on the calf crop each year, to ensure that only the best make it through to service females in our customers pastures
We also want our customers, and potential customers to know that our bull calves are never creep fed They grow on pasture, with their momma’s milk We want to select for those hard working mothers that give it all to their calves, and come back into cycle like clockwork Not only, allowing us to select for performance, but strong stayability in our herd.
Once home, and weaned the bulls are carefully and slowly developed on a free choice ration of brome grass hay and ground oats with mineral and vitamins to develop them for their first year of breeding & years of service ahead as a mature bull The bulls will be fully guaranteed with a breeding soundness exam completed and your bull(s) of choice will be kept here, on feed, until your need for them (free of charge). Every animal cataloged is open for inquiries and not sold until February 22, 2025 - to give all folks on our mailing list and online opportunity to inquire, see videos and have equal opportunity on the animal of their choosing On Saturday, February 22 2025 we will then begin accepting written private treaty offers.
If multiple offers are made on any bull(s) on or before February 22, 2025 date; interested parties will have the opportunity to increase their offer - with the highest offer receiving the bull and the bull would be fully committed at this time Bulls not committed for on February 22, 2025 would then become available on first come, first serve basis.
We will do our best to keep the online version of the catalog on our Facebook, Issuu and our website up to date with sold markers and price sold for The pen is open now for viewing and we encourage you to stop by and see the pen in real life. Once you have committed to a bull(s) of your choosing, a 50% deposit holds him for you until we deliver him. The remainder is due upon his delivery, and we accept etransfer, cheque or cash for your convenience
Delivery
We offer delivery right to your farm where we follow a 500 km rule (free delivery within 500 km of our farmgate). But we will work with you, and with many bulls headed in various directions - we typically do free delivery runs within AB, and into parts of SK, MB and BC If you are located in the USA or Eastern Canada we will do our best to assist in connecting with any haulers to get the bull to you - and help with any paperwork needed for the border

Don't let this bulls numbers scare you as he will be a heifer bull full of performance from a very fertile and impactful cow line. His dam has been a consistently high producing cow for us but 94M will be her last offspring as halfway through the summer she did have an illness and pass on which is why 94M’s 205 day weight is at least 150 lbs lower than it should be Smooth polled.
