Salad Container Garden Workshop

Youth Movement
In this class, your child will be introduced to gymnastics, yoga, dance, music, rhythm, games and more at a developmentally appropriate level. Each week we will focus on coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, and spatial awareness of our body through play and games chosen to develop fine and gross motor skills. The goal of this class is for each child’s creative spirit to shine while we experience all the wonderful ways we can move our growing bodies. Instructor: Kelly Pietrzak.

Family Formal Dance
You are cordially invited to our annual Spring Fling Family Formal Dance! Come dressed to impress for this year’s “Glow Ball” theme as we transform the Wentworth School cafeteria into a dance to remember. Light, bright, or neon dress clothes are encouraged.
Professional photography offered on site, as well as a selfie station for those fun and silly poses. Music provided by local radio DJs Joe Lerman and Rob Steele. Light refreshments and snacks provided.

Appointments are scheduled throughout the day in 30-minute intervals, which is usually plenty of time to process applications for individuals as well as families. All appointments take place at the Scarborough Community Services Hub, located at 417 Payne Road. Call 207-730-4150 to schedule.

What You Need to Bring APPLICANT
Anyone applying for a passport, including newborn babies, must be present for the passport acceptance.
MINORS AGE 15 & UNDER
It is REQUIRED that minors apply in person with both parents listed on their birth certificates. If both parents cannot be present, additional documentation must be completed or presented.
ADULTS AGE 16 & 17
It is recommended that one parent be present at the appointment to show parental awareness. This can also be done by writing the check for the passport or putting a parent down as the emergency contact on the form.

Certified U.S. birth certificate OR previous U.S. Passport.
PHOTO IDENTIFICATION
Maine driver’s license or Maine ID (If you only have an out-of-state driver’s license, you must bring additional photo ID).

RENTALS & RESERVATIONS OUTDOOR AMENITIES
Field & Facility Reservations
Community Services has made booking a field or facility simpler by allowing online reservation requests! Using your organization’s username and password, you are able to log onto our online reservation system on our website and access the following features:
Update your organization’s contact information. We ask that each group or organization only maintain one primary contact person to keep communications consistent throughout the reservation process.
Check field and facility availability in real-time.
Request a field or facility.
Print request confirmation for your records.
Make a payment for reservation online using a debit or credit card.

Kayak Rack Rentals
Tired of lugging your kayak to and from the beach? Our department maintains kayak storage racks at the Pine Point Co-Op, Ferry Beach, and Clay Pitts boat launch. Each rack has 16 spots available.
Scarborough residents and taxpayers may enter their name into the lottery for a chance to secure a space for the season beginning February 2 through February 25.
No fee will be assessed for the lottery enrollment. If you are selected, each kayak spot is $150 for the season. Please visit our website for the most up to date information.
DOGS ON BEACH REMINDER
Furry friends are welcome at the beaches at all hours during this time of year, but please keep in mind the current leash rules for the time of day.
