TheCardiacAppealisraising£125,000tofundanEPIQCVxscannerforWycombehospital whichwillbeusedtodiagnoseandevaluatealltypesofheartdisease.Thededicatedcardiac ultrasoundsystem,thesinglemostpowerfultoolcurrentlyavailabletocardiologists,generates detailed,realtimemovingimagesoftheheart.Theseimageswillallowclinicianstoassessthe structureandfunctionoftheheartinpatientswithcoronaryheartdisease,valvedisease,heart failure,congenitalheartdiseaseandstrokewhichwillhelpimprovetheaccuracyofdiagnosis
