AWAKEN THE LIONESS WITHIN – FEARLESS FEMALE CONFIDENCE TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS AND POWER The Frankfurt-based mindset and business coach Simone Zander is convinced: there is a lioness hiding inside every woman. The 36-year-old, originally from East Africa, lives this motto very successfully. Since founding her coaching business, the bilingual coach guides high-level businesswomen and top leaders worldwide. “I encourage women to believe in themselves, to surpass themselves and to develop their unique potential,” begins Simone Zander. She sees life as a big adventure and therefore it might not come as a surprise that she chose the lioness as her guiding symbol: she is strong, feminine and develops her greatest power when she discovers her own strength and creates her own success. While studying psychology, Zander taught business seminars and quickly realised how self-critical many women are. “I was missing female power. The women weren’t lacking competence or intelligence, what they needed was the courage to awaken the lioness 88 | Issue 88 | December 2021
within: with more confidence and the belief in their own abilities.” Her coaching concept therefore aims at a holistic change process. Her clients work on their mindset, personal development and thought patterns, as well as making a professional impact, changing actions and habits, and business strategies. “Where are you now and what are your goals? This key question shapes the whole coaching process,” reveals the 36-year-old. Money, success, energy, power, abundance and courage are key factors. In her coaching, Simone Zander draws inspiration from her own eclectic past. Born and raised in East Africa, her early childhood
was marked by experiencing the contrast of poverty and hardship on one side, and strength and humanity on the other. Today, she combines her early childhood adventures with a versatile education. At the age of 20 she came to Germany, trained as graphic designer and studied psychology, followed by a period of yoga teacher training in India. She is a certified business coach and speaker and published her first book in 2020. Simone Zander has been selfemployed since 2011 and, in 2019, founded her own company.
