From 28 March 2022, you will be able to experience the Marburg of today along with the history of yesterday and the vision of tomorrow. Always impressive spots to see on any visit are St. Elisabeth’s Church in the valley, the charming ‘Upper Town’ up the slope, and the crowning Landgrafen Palace. In the anniversary year, the town will bring you back to its otherwise hidden past. Video mapping, augmented reality and 3D models visualise the urban development, the history of the palace and the construction of St. Elisabeth’s Church.

Immer wieder beeindruckend: Die Elisabethkirche im Tal, die charmante Oberstadt hangaufwärts und das alles bekrönenden Landgrafenschloss. Im Jubiläumsjahr aber bringt dich die Stadt zurück in die sonst verborgene Vergangenheit. Videomapping, Augmented Reality und 3D-Modelle visualisieren die Stadtentwicklung, die Schlossgeschichte und den Bau der Elisabethkirche.
