There aren’t many hotels that are situated in such scenic and climatically attractive settings, while offering such diverse leisure and recreational opportunities, like the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee. Not for nothing, the hotel, with its traditionalmodern interior, poses as a popular summer and winter holiday destination. With over 4,000 square metres of wellness and spa area and around 200 rooms, apartments and suites, the hotel is the largest one in the region – nevertheless, guests can look forward to a familial, cosy atmosphere here, while finding special refuges and panoramic views throughout the premises. In the evenings, guests can look forward to live music and tasty cocktails at the carousel bar. The spa and wellness area comes complete with indoor and outdoor pool, different saunas, Jacuzzi with panoramic views, emperor’s bath, bubble pool, steam baths, hammam, Himalaya salt grotto and the relaxation gallery: all contributing to pure relaxation. Diane Hergarden, authorised officer, elaborates: “This includes our lymph activation health weeks, for example, or Jentschura’s alkaline regimen.” Another hotel highlight, is the fact that since 2001, the first German authentic Ayurveda centre has existed here, with a doctor and team of therapists, as well as original Ayurvedic treatments from Sri Lanka. All treatment oils and products also get imported from there. The treatment rooms, as well as the rooms for the Ayurveda guests, are found on a separate floor, so that guests can find holistic tranquility and peace.
